V&A Furniture Gallery 2011

The Furniture Galleries invite the visitor to explore both historic craft and present day technique in the same moment, allowing for comparisons to be drawn across the changing landscape of centuries of craft.

Content is divided between a linear chronology along a central axis and a series of pocketed displays along the perimeter of the gallery carrying content sections illustrating technique and craft.
